Nekimi Town Board Minutes June 17, 2013 Present: Glen Barthels, Tom Pollack, Larry Schweda, Jessica Potratz & Julie Barthels Meeting was called to order by Barthels at 7:30 p.m. Schweda moved to approve the May minutes, 2nd by Pollack. Carried 3-0. Treasurer’s Report was given. Zoning: A Special Exception for Cyril Griesbach – Parcel #012-0200-04 was presented to the board. This is a relatively new process that the County Zoning Department has started since the adoption of the new Code. Barthels moved to accept the Special Exception as presented. 2nd by Schweda. Carried 3-0. A CSM was presented to the board for review and approval for the Mowbray, Hoeft, Tigert, Tigert aka Turner property – Parcel #012-0364. Schweda moved to accept the CSM as presented. 2nd by Pollack. Carried 3 -0. A CSM was presented to the board for review and approval for West Pointe Bank – Parcel #012-0409, 012-0411 & 012-0411-09. Pollack moved to a ccept the CSM as presented. 2nd by Schweda. Carried 3-0. A resolution for the Town of Nekimi to accept text amendments to Zoning Code Chapter 23 of the General Code was presented to the board. Motion by Pollack to approve the resolution. 2nd by Schweda. Carried 3-0. Schweda moved to approve the May bills. 2nd by Pollack. Carried 3-0. Road Conditions: Discussed different roads in the Township that need work. Road that were discussed are Clay Road, Poberezny Road and County Road I. Chairman Barthels will talk to the Highway Commissioner in regard to the road side cuttings. Supervisor Pollack has talked to Fahrner Asphalt in regard to Old Knapp Road. Ambulance Agreement – The City of Oshkosh gave a demonstration to the group that attended the meeting in regard to this agreement. Thank you to Frank Sanchez for attending this and representing the Town o f Nekimi. Chief Sanchez is very appreciative of working with and being trained by the City of Oshkosh EMT ’s. Town Road Access Control for State Road 26 – After talking to Attorney John St. Peter, the board feels it is in our best interest to stay involved with this project. Barthels moved to be a part and stay involved with the State Road 26 Town Road Access Control. 2nd by Pollack. Carried 3 -0. Water Fill Site – The Van Dyne Fire Department has approached the Nekimi Fire Department to aid them in creating a water fill site on Old Oregon Road in the Town of Black Wolf. Questions from the board included : would an easement be necessary, who would pay for this and how would it be paid for, would it be wise to work with Michels to be able to pump from the quarry on County Road N. The Town Board wants to be involved with this situation and to have the Fire Department keep them informed. Liquor/ Tobacco/ Bartenders Licenses – Motion by Pollack to approve all licenses as presented. 2nd by Schweda. Carried 3 -0. Review Compliance Checklist for Starshow Presents, Inc. – Discussed some of the compliances listed on the checklist.
