Old Business: Road Conditions – Proposals from Fahrner Asphalt and Winnebago County were presented to the Board members. Chairman Barthels will contact the Highway Department in regard to their proposals. Highway Commissioner, Ernie Winters, contact the Chairman in regard to applying for funding for bridges in the Township. Feels the bridge over Weyerhorst Creek on Nekimi Avenue would qualify. The Board questioned the bridges on Fisk and Old Knapp Road, wondering if they would qualify. Received an e-mail from Terry Genske with the Wisconsin DOT regarding town road access control. Feelings were that we should work with them, but contact our attorney to see what direction we should take to have as much say as we can. New Business: Ambulance Service Agreement – Board asked Clerk to contact Linda at the City of Omro to ask what options they are proposing. Hoped that the meeting would be attended by most townships, so everyone would have their questions answered. The board asked that a “Thank You” be sent to the Golden Oak 4-H Club for the new voting booth curtains. Barthels moved to adjourn the meeting, 2nd by Schweda. Carried 3-0. Respectfully Submitted, Julie Barthels, Clerk
