Old Business:
Road Conditions – Two town residents, Pat Ruedinger and Bunny Boelter, spoke in concern of major pot
holes on Waupun Road, Ripple Road and Knapp Street. They have noticed that there is an abundance of
heavy truck traffic that is destroying the roads. Chairman Barthels reported that he had been in contact
with the Highway Department regarding the pot holes. Supervisor Pollack suggested having Ben Jordan,
from the Department of Transportation, come and meet with the Board to discuss ideas to repair these
roads. Residents suggested asking EAA to help with the repair of these roads because of the usage. The
residents questioned the road signage for Ripple Road at Poberezny Road, and Knapp Street at the
corner of Knapp Street and County Road N. Chairman Barthels reported that he had been in contact
with the Sign Department at the Highway Department and the sign for Ripple Road is on the telephone
pole. Residents inquired if it was there, that it is not very visible and asked if reflectors could be placed
by the sign on the telephone pole. Residents inquired about grass clippings being blown onto the road
right of way, and felt it should be part of a nuisance ordinance.
