Annual Meeting Minutes 2020

MINUTES OF THE 2020 ANNUAL MEETING Supervisor I Mike Pollack called to order the Annual Meeting of the Town of Black Wolf on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Treasurer McDermott explained this is a yearly meeting, with actionable items: Approval of the 2019 Annual Meeting Minutes, Financial Report and setting the date for the 2021 Annual Meeting. Approval of the Annual Meeting minutes for 2019. Motion (Rob Keller/Tom Verstegen) to approve the April 16, 2019 Annual Meeting Minutes. CARRIED Annual Financial Report. Treasurer John McDermott gave the cash on hand amounts as of January 2019 and December 2019. The income and expense amounts were given. He discussed the 2019 Tax levy and revenue over expenses. Zoning Administrator Tom Verstegen asked about the drainage fund showing as zero. Treasurer McDermott advised the correction will be made to reflect the actual dollar amount in that account which is a part of the Capital Improvement Fund. It was also mentioned the engineering costs associated with studies of the town will come out of this account. Treasurer McDermott also advised Clifton Anderson, formerly Schenk and Associates are the town accountants and an audit will take place this year. General Information- Status Reports Supervisor I Mike Pollack reviewed the 2019 Annual meeting minutes and confirmed the electors left the decision making up to the Board concerning the sale of the Sterling Snowplow Truck. It was decided this matter will be an agenda item for the next Board meeting. Supervisor II Rob Keller we have the Proposal and Contract from Fahrner awaiting signature. Open Forum None Additional Items:  Date for 2021 Annual meeting. The Annual Meeting will be held on Tuesday, the 3rd week in April 2021, now set for April 20th, 2021 at 7:00p.m. Motion by Tom Verstegen to adjourn the meeting; seconded by John McDermott at 7:26p.m..
