Minutes Town of Oshkosh Town of Oshkosh Minutes May 26, 2026 Town Board Meeting Page 6011 Town Board Meeting – May 26, 2026 - 7:00 p.m. – Town Hall 1 2 PRESENT: Chair Jim Erdman, Supervisor Matt Merten, Supervisor Bill Demler, 3 Treasurer Laura Hunt, Clerk Jeannette Merten, and an audience of . 4 5 Chair Erdman called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 6 Motion by Demler, M. Merten seconded, to approve the May 11, 2026 7 Town Board Meeting minutes as presented. 8 Roll call. Erdman, yes; M. Merten, abstain; Demler, yes. Motion Carried. 9 10 Reports: 11 Fire Chief Report. 12 Deputy Fire Chief Todd Zak reported three incidents. Two of the incidents 13 involved an inattentive vehicle driver with boat trailer accident on Butte des Morts 14 bridge and assisting the City with a fire on Washington St. 15 16 Additionally, Logan Poupore resigned from the department. The town board 17 thanks Logan for his long-serving dedication since 2013. 18 19 First Responder Coordinator Report. 20 Deputy Fire Chief Todd Zak reported that there have been nine service calls since 21 May 11, 2026. 22 23 Zoning Administrator Report. 24 Zoning Administrator Carol Kaufmann could not attend. Carol did send a 25 message saying she received two calls. One was about a portable building and 26 other one was about building an accessory building on a vacant lot. 27 28 Public Participation: 29 None. 30 31 Planning and Zoning: 32 Resolution 03-2026 – Certifying the Current Version of the Official Zoning Map 33 for the Town of Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. 34 Motion made by M. Merten, Demler seconded, to approve the Resolution 35 03-2026 - Certifying the Current Version of the Official Zoning Map for the 36 Town of Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. 37 Roll call. M. Merten, yes; Demler, yes; Erdman, yes. Motion carried. 51 52 Forthcoming Events of public interest and additional comments: 53 Supervisor Demler said he ordered no-parking signage for Edgewood and was 54 able to fix the driveway culvert where the short-term rental is located.
