MINUTES CITY OF WAUPUN LIBRARY BOARD Waupun Public Library – 123 S. Forest Street, Waupun WI Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 4:30 PM CALL TO ORDER At 4:30 pm, President Beer called the meeting of the Waupun Library Board to order. ROLL CALL Members In Person are: President Mike Beer Vice President Steve Hill Secretary Casey Homan Ryan Mielke Bev Martens Randy VandeZande Members absent and excused are Linda Nickel and Marie Svec. Audience In Person are: Bill Eichstadt, Nathan Garcia, Reid Garcia, Chad Garcia, Lisa Bille, Jess Kiehl, Janet Gehl, Wayne Fix, Forsell Gappa, Calvin Gappa, Andy Nygren, Jenny Nygren, Jake Boersma, Tami Lont, and Justin Montsma. PERSONS WISHING TO ADDRESS THE LIBRARY BOARD No persons appeared before the Board. CONSIDERATION-ACTION 1. Appointment of Library Director Motion by Bev Martens, second by Steve Hill to appoint Pam Garcia as City of Waupun Library Director. Motion carried 6-0 on roll call. 2. Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes 5-20-26, 6-10-26, 6-11-26 Motion by Randy VandeZande, second by Ryan Mielke to approve the Library Board minutes from 5-20-26, 6-10- 26, and 6-11-26. Motion carried 6-0. 3. Authorization for Payment of Monthly Expenses Motion Bev Martens, second by Casey Homan to authorize payment of the monthly expenses. Motion carried 6-0 on roll call. DISCUSSION-REVIEW 4. Librarian's Monthly Report-May Library Director Garcia provided the May monthly report. Board Vice President Steve Hill inquired if the City of Waupun could assign city emails to library board members for board purposes. ADJOURNMENT Motion Steve Hill, second by Casey Homan to call the meeting adjourned at 4:45pm. Motion carried 6-0.
