TOWN OF FOND DU LAC FOND DU LAC COUNTY PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING NOVEMBER 11, 2024 6:00 PM The Public Budget Hearing was called to order by Chairman Jeff Montsma. Present were Chairman Montsma, Supervisors Aaron Kuhls, Jessica Allender, Jennifer Janeczko, and David Washkoviak, Clerk Patti Supple and Treasurer Brenda Post. Confirmation was made of open meeting notice. The summary and in-depth budgets were reviewed. There being no questions, motion was made and seconded to adjourn to the Special Town Meeting of the Electors. Motion carried 5 aye. SPECIAL ELECTORS MEETING The Special Electors Meeting was called to order. Clerk Supple explained the town tax levy for 2024 payable in 2025 is $878,816.00 with $32,503.21 payable from the State for personal property tax. The Town tax is $694,938.00 and the Water Utility Tax is $183,878.00. Motion was made by Supervisor Allender and seconded by Supervisor Janeczko to approve the Town Tax Levy for 2024. Motion carried, 7 aye. Motion was made and seconded to adjourn to the Town Board Meeting. Motion carried, 7 aye. SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING The Special Town Board Meeting was called to order. After review of the Budget, motion was made by Supervisor Washkoviak and seconded by Supervisor Allender to approve the 2025 Budget. Motion carried, 5 aye. The compensation for the Town Chairman and Supervisors 2 and 4 were reviewed. After discussion, motion was made by Supervisor Janeczko and seconded by Supervisor Kuhls to have th compensation say the same. Motion carried, 5 aye.
