1 TAYCHEEDAH SANITARY DISTRICT NO. 1 REGULAR BUSINESS MEETING July 27, 2026 – 5:00 P.M. TAYCHEEDAH TOWN HALL W4295 KIEKHAEFER PARKWAY FOND DU LAC, WI 54937-6802 Call to Order The meeting was called to order by M. Nett at 5:00 P.M. and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Present: Commissioners: J. Huck, M. Nett, D. Weber Administrative Clerk: Priscilla Yohann Inspection: J. Rickert Maintenance: M. Haensgen Approval of Agenda Motion: by M. Nett, second by D. Weber, to approve the Agenda. Vote: Ayes: 3, Opposed: 0 – Motion carried. Approval of June 22, 2026, Regular Business Meeting Minutes Motion: by J. Huck, second by M. Nett, to approve the June 22, 2026, Regular Business Meeting Minutes. Vote: Ayes: 2, Opposed: 0, Abstain: 1 – Motion carried. REGULAR BUSINESS Financial Report Financial statements were distributed, and discussion was held. Motion: by J. Huck, second by M. Nett, to approve the Financial Statements. Vote: Ayes: 3, Opposed: 0 – Motion carried. Motion: by J. Huck, second by M. Nett, for M. Nett to renew or move the CD maturing at National Exchange Bank & Trust to any place beneficial to the District that has the best rate available. Vote: Ayes: 3, Opposed: 0 – Motion carried. Approval of Bills/Sign checks Motion: by M. Nett, second by D. Weber, to approve the bills as submitted. Vote: Ayes: 3, Opposed: 0 – Motion carried. Inspection Report • A copy of the detailed log of inspection activities during the month of July 2026 is on file. • J. Rickert reported a lateral leak and broken clean-out at N9132 Welling Beach Road. Discussion was held, and a certified letter will be sent to the owner, whose responsibility it is to repair. The repairs must be completed within 30 days, and J. Rickert must be contacted when repairs are completed. • J. Rickert also reported a leaking lateral that should be capped at N9176-N9178 US Hwy 151. A certified letter will also be sent to the owner with a 30-day repair completion date with instructions to notify J. Rickert when repairs are finished. Maintenance Report • A copy of the detailed log of maintenance activities during the month of July 2026 is on file. • M. Haensgen had nothing to report at this time. 2 Regular Business Meeting July 27, 2026 Page 2 Administrative Clerk’s Report • A copy of the detailed log of administrative clerk activities during the month of July 2026 is on file. • P. Yohann reported receiving the CMAR response, will be out of the office August 15-23, and completing the annual audit from BITCO for the worker’s compensation policy, which had no adjustment in premium. UNFINISHED BUSINESS None to be reported. NEW BUSINESS 1. Discussion and possible action of an addition to the Ordinance to add a penalty for construction without a permit and a penalty for requesting or rescheduling a cancelled appointment for an inspection with less than two days’ notice. Discussion was held regarding the lack of notice by contractors requesting or cancelling an inspection. It was decided that failing to obtain a District inspection permit will lead to a consequence of double the inspection fee. The addition to the Ordinance will be presented to the attorney for approval, will be posted, and a notice will be given along with the permit. Motion: by M. Nett, second by J. Huck, to charge double the inspection fee for failure to obtain a permit for abandonment of or connection to a District lateral or performing any work before acquiring a permit and failure to give a two-day notice for inspections. The two-day notice could be waived at the discretion of the inspector. Vote: Ayes: 3, Opposed: 0 – Motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENT None to be reported. ADJOURNMENT: The meeting adjourned at 5:40 PM.
