Johnsburg Sanitary District 9.3.2026 Meeting Minutes

JOHNSBURG SANITARY DISTRICT MONTHLY COMMISSION MEETING SEPTEMBER 3, 2026 5:00 P.M. ST JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH OFFICE, JOHNSBURG Members present : President Franz Schmitz and Commissioners Ken Schneider and Jason Meyer . Also present: Recording Secretary Brenda Schneider. 1. Call to order. President Schmitz called the meeting to order at 5:04 p.m. 2. Approval of the minutes of the 8/6/2026 meeting. Motion by Jason Meyer, second by Ken Schneider, to approve the minutes of the meeting held on August 6, 2026. Motion carried (3-0). 3. Discussion and possible action regarding operational issues: a. Meter station. Nothing to report at this time. b. Lift Stations. The August pump runtime reports were reviewed. c. Grinder pump stations. Nothing to report at this time. d. Other operational issues. Brenda Schneider contacted the City to request the annual Clearwater Investment form. Cody Schoepke at the City was under the impression Eric Otte released the form to all of the districts in the spring. Johnsburg need s to complete the report for 2025; however, a report will not be required for 2026 due to a significant decrease in flows. Commission is unsure as to how to interpret the televising reports completed earlier this year. Brenda will contact Speedy Clean for more information. 4. Approval of District bills. Motion by Ken Schneider, second by Jason Meyer, to approve the bills (order #49-54), for a total of $2,217.44, and to authorize the following: • Transfer $2,200.00 from the Operations/User Charge Account to the regular checking account , • Transfer $4,780.19 from the Operations/User Charge Account to the Debt Service Account, and • Transfer $846.06 from the Operations/User Charge Account to the Reserve for Replacement Account . Motion carried (3-0). 6. Schedule the next meeting. The next monthly meeting of the Commission is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, October 1st, at 5:00 pm, at St. John the Baptist Parish Office. The Annual Meeting of the Outlying Sewer Group (OSG) will be conducted on September 17 th. 7. Adjournment.
