JOHNSBURG SANITARY DISTRICT MONTHLY COMMISSION MEETING NOVEMBER 6, 2025 5:00 P.M. ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH OFFICE, JOHNSBURG Members present : Commissioners Ken Schneider and Jason Meyer . Also present: Recording Secretary Brenda Schneider. Absent: President Franz Schmitz. 1. Call to order. Commissioner Schneider called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m. 2. Approval of the minutes of the 10/8/2025 meeting. Motion by Jason Meyer, second by Ken Schneider, to approve the minutes of the meeting held on October 8, 2025. Motion carried (2-0). 3. Discussion and possible action regarding operational issues: a. Meter station. Nothing to report at this time. b. Lift Stations. The October pump runtime reports were reviewed. It was noted Sabel Mechanical recently cleaned both stations. c. Grinder pump stations. Nothing to report at this time. d. Other operational issues. Sabel Mechanical submitted a quote of $3,556.76 to repair air release # 7. Motion by Ken Schneider, second by Jason Meyer, to accept the quote. Motion carried (2-0). 4. Approval of District bills. Motion by Jason Meyer, second by Ken Schneider, to approve the bills (order #63-68), for a total of $15,070.88, and to approve the following: • Transfer $15,500.00 from the Operations/User Charge Account to the regular checking account. Motion carried (2-0). 5. Consideration and possible acceptance of an agreement from Freund Financial Inc. to provide accounting services. The proposed agreement increases the hourly rate from $45 to $50 effective January 1, 2026. Motion by Jason Meyer, second by Ken Schneider, to accept the agreement. Motion carried (2 -0). 6. Consideration and possible action to levy a property tax for 2025, payable 2026. Motion by Jason Meyer, second by Ken Schneider, to not levy a 2025 property tax. Motion carried (2-0). 7. Schedule the next meeting. The next monthly meeting of the Commission is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, December 4th, at 5:00 pm, at St. John the Baptist Parish Office. 8. Adjournment.
