JOHNSBURG SANITARY DISTRICT MONTHLY COMMISSION MEETING OCTOBER 8, 2025 5:00 P.M. TOMMY J’S BAR, JOHNSBURG Members present : President Franz Schmitz and Commissioners Ken Schneider and Jason Meyer . Also present: Recording Secretary Brenda Schneider, and Joyce Schneider. 1. Call to order. President Schmitz called the meeting to order at 5:02 p.m. 2. Approval of the minutes of the 9/4/2025 meeting. Motion by Ken Schneider, second by Jason Meyer, to approve the minutes of the meeting held on September 4, 2025. Motion carried (3-0). 3. Discussion and possible action regarding operational issues: a. Meter station. Nothing to report at this time. b. Lift Stations. The September pump runtime reports were reviewed. Motion by Ken Schneider, second by Jason Meyer, to accept the quote of $1,351.43 from Sabel Mechanical to replace the sealing flange and guide claw on the County Q lift station. Motion carried (3-0). c. Grinder pump stations. Nothing to report at this time. d. Other operational issues . Digger’s Hotline is increasing their rate to $1.90 per locate effective January 1, 2026. The annual delinquent notices were mailed on October 10 th. This notice is a statutory require ment in order to have the authority to add the arrears to property tax bills. 4. Review Clearwater Investment Reports. The reports were amended and re-submitted to the City. The reports were reviewed and discussed. 5 Approval of District bills. Motion by Ken Schneider, second by Jason Meyer, to approve the bills (order #59-62), for a total of $249.03, and to acknowledge the quarterly loan payment of $8,957.09. Motion carried (3-0). 6. Schedule the next meeting. The next monthly meeting of the Commission is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, November 6th, at 5:00 pm, at St. John the Baptist Parish Office. 7. Adjournment.
