Johnsburg – 6-5-2025 meeting minutes

JOHNSBURG SANITARY DISTRICT MONTHLY COMMISSION MEETING JUNE 5, 2025 5:00 P.M. ST JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH OFFICE Members present : President Franz Schmitz and Commissioner s Ken Schneider and Jason Meyer . Also present: Recording Secretary Brenda Schneider. 1. Call to order . President Schmitz called the meeting to order at 5:01 p.m. 2. Approval of the minutes of the 5/8/2025 meeting . Motion by Ken Schneider, second by Jason Meyer , to approve the minutes of the meeting held on May 8, 2025. Motion carried ( 3-0). 3. Discussion and possible action regarding operational issues : a. Meter station . Nothing to report at this time . b. Lift Stations . The May pump runtime reports were reviewed. The Missions system at both stations has become unreliable. In April, t he Commission authorized the replacement of the radio in both stations. The radios have been received. Brenda Schneider still trying to coordinate installation of the replacement radios with Synergy Sales & Service . c. Grinder pump stations . The Welter property has reportedly sold. No activity has been noted yet. d. Clearwater Inspections . A few stress cracks were discovered last year during televising. Brenda Schneider spoke to Brett Healy at Great Lakes TV & Seal . He reviewed the report a nd provide a quote. Jason will contact Healy to discuss the quote . e. Other operational issues . Brenda Schneider started working on the 2024 Compliance Maintenance Annual Report (CMAR). The Report will be presented during the July meeting. 4. Approval of District bills. Motion by Ken Schneider, second by Jason Meyer, to reaffirm the payment of the May expenditures and to correct the total to $11,081.84 and to confirm the transfer of $5,000 from Operations/User Charge Account to the regular checking account done via verbal authorization on May 29 th. Motion carried (3-0). Motion by Ken Schneider, second by Jason Meyer , to approve the bills (order # 37-41), for a total of $5,992.57 , and to authorize the following: • Transfer $ 6,300.00 from the Operations/User Charge Account to the regular checking account , Motion carried (3-0). 5. Schedule the next meeting . The next monthly meeting of the Commission is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday July 8 th at 5:00 pm, at St. John’s Parish Office . 6. Adjournment .
