JOHNSBURG SANITARY DISTRICT MONTHLY COMMISSION MEETING FEBRUARY 13, 2025 5:00 P.M. TOMMY J’s, JOHNSBURG Members present : President Franz Schmitz, Commissioners Ken Schneider and Jason Meyer . Also present: Recording Secretary Brenda Schneider, Joyce Schneider, Jolene Meyer and Shawn Andrew. 1. Call to order. President Schmitz called the meeting to order at 5:02 p.m. 2. Annual review of insurance coverage with Shawn Andre w, Rural Mutual Insurance, Co. Rural builds-in a 7% inflation guard. Insured locations were reviewed. 3. Approval of the minutes of the 1/9/2025 meeting. Motion by Jason Meyer, second by Ken Schneider, to approve the minutes of the January 9th monthly meeting as distributed. Motion carried (3-0). 4. Discussion and possible action regarding operational issues: a. Meter station. Nothing to report at this time. b. Lift Stations. The January pump runtime reports were reviewed. An increase in runtime was noted on January 5th and 6th. c. Grinder pump stations. The system has been running efficiently since televising. d. Clearwater Inspections . The Commission is considering doing more televising. Brenda will speak to Taycheedah Sanitary District No. 3. e. Other operational issues. David and Dawn Pritzl plan to tap the main on Johnsburg Road later this year. 5. Approval of District bills. Motion by Ken Schneider, second by Jason Meyer, to approve the bills (order #5-10), for a total of $5,578.89, and to authorize the following: • Transfer $5,600.00 from the Operations/User Charge Account to the regular checking account, • Transfer $7,412.48 from the Operations/User Charge Account to the Debt Service Account, and • Transfer $1,311.94 from the Operations/User Charge Account to the Reserve for Replacement Account. Motion carried (3-0). 6. Schedule the next meeting . The next monthly meeting of the Commission is tentatively scheduled for Thursday March 6th at 5:00 pm, at St. John’s Parish Office. 7.
