Johnsburg – 1-9-25 Meeting Minutes

JOHNSBURG SANITARY DISTRICT MONTHLY COMMISSION MEETING JANUARY 9, 2025 5:00 P.M. ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH OFFICE, JOHNSBURG Members present : President Franz Schmitz, Commissioners Ken Schneider and Jason Meyer . Also present: Recording Secretary Brenda Schneider. 1. Call to order. President Schmitz called the meeting to order at 5:03 p.m. 2. Approval of the minutes of the 12/5/2024 meeting. Motion by Ken Schneider, second by Jason Meyer, to approve the minutes of the December 5th monthly meeting as distributed. Motion carried (3-0). 3. Discussion and possible action regarding operational issues: a. Meter station. Nothing to report at this time. b. Lift Stations. The December pump runtime reports were reviewed. Sabel Mechanical cleaned both lift stations yesterday. Joel Schneider responded to an alert at the Malone station a couple of weeks ago. He reset the pumps causing normal operation to resume. c. Grinder pump stations. Ken Schneider checked the cover to the station at the Welter property. He found it to be of no concern. d. Clearwater Inspections. Nothing to report at this time. e. Other operational issues . David and Dawn Pritzl appear ready to move forward with tapping the main on Johnsburg Road. If necessary, the Commission will conduct a special meeting. 4. Approval of District bills. Motion by Ken Schneider, second by Jason Meyer, to approve the bills (order # 1-4), for a total of $5,860.49, and to authorize the following: • Transfer $5,900.00 from the Operations/User Charge Account to the regular checking account, Motion carried (3-0). 5. Schedule the next meeting . The next monthly meeting of the Commission is tentatively scheduled for Thursday February 6th at 5:00 pm, at Tommy J’s. 9. Adjournment.
