JOHNSBURG SANITARY DISTRICT MONTHLY COMMISSION MEETING DECEMBER 5, 2024 5:00 P.M. ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH OFFICE, JOHNSBURG Members present : President Franz Schmitz, Commissioners Ken Schneider and Jason Meyer . Also present: Recording Secretary Brenda Schneider and Joyce Schneider. 1. Call to order. President Schmitz called the meeting to order at 5:09 p.m. 2. Approval of the minutes of the 11/14/2024 meeting. Motion by Ken Schneider, second by Jason Meyer, to approve the minutes of the November 14th monthly meeting as distributed. Motion carried (3-0). 3. Discussion and possible action regarding operational issues: a. Meter station. Nothing to report at this time. b. Lift Stations. The November pump runtime reports were reviewed. Sabel Mechanical plans to clean both lift stations later this month. c. Grinder pump stations. The cover to the station at the Welter property has a gaping cracked. Ken Schneider will take a look at it. d. Clearwater Inspections. Nothing to report at this time. e. Other operational issues. Nothing to report at this time. 4. Approval of District bills. Motion by Ken Schneider, second by Jason Meyer, to approve the bills (order #78-87), for a total of $10,788.38, and to authorize the following: • Transfer $10,750.00 from the Operations/User Charge Account to the regular checking account, • Transfer $522.62 from the Operations/User Charge Account to the Debt Service Account, and • Transfer $92.50 from the Operations/User Charge Account to the Reserve for Replacement Account. Motion carried (3-0). 5. Schedule the next meeting . The next monthly meeting of the Commission is tentatively scheduled for Thursday January 9th, at 5:00 p.m. 9. Adjournment.
