Regular Board Meeting — Minutes

Town of Belvidere REGULAR MEETING March 14, 2023, 7:00 PM Cochrane VFW Post 10406 Chairman Ron Speltz called the meeting to order. Ron Kazmierczak appeared by phone- all other Board members present. The meeting notice was published in the Buffalo County News on March 9, 2023. The full agenda was posted per WI Statutes 19.84 on March 10, 2023. A Motion by Supervisor Ron Kazmierczak was made to approve the Minutes as provided to board members in lieu of reading out loud. Supervisor Lee Engfer seconded the motion. Carried. Treasurer Barbara Brommer gave the Treasurer’s report and Investment Summary. Balance on hand as of tonight is $181,238.43 in the General Checking Account. Barb reported there are 2 outstanding checks to date. Lee made a Motion to accept the Treasurer’s report as read. Ron Kaz seconded the Motion. Motion Carried. The Clerk presented the bills for payment. A motion was made by Lee and seconded by Ron Kaz to pay the bills as presented. Motion carried. NEW BUSINESS: Chairman Speltz reported that the Road Bans will go into effect this week. Discussion held on 2023 road maintenance – Hickory Lane old seal coated spot needs to be replaced with new crush rock; Flury Ridge needs gravel base applied; Boat Landing (not Town Owned) needed new black top mat. Ron Kaz will talk to DNR about this project. Discussed 3-year Road Plan with possible Schlawin Road blacktopping option in 2023 or 2024. Ron Speltz will work on finalizing the 3-year road plan. The Board decided to BID the two small mowing areas for 2023. Bid Opening will be on Tuesday, APRIL 18th – 6:45 PM prior to Annual Meeting. Bid Notice will be published. The next regular scheduled meeting will be Tuesday, April 18, 2023 following the at 7:00 pm Annual Meeting. Also Re-Elected Board Members will be given the Oath of Office.
