Regular Board Meeting — Minutes

Town of Belvidere REGULAR MEETING February 14, 2023, 7:00 PM Cochrane VFW Post 10406 Chairman Ron Speltz called the meeting to order. All Board members present and no visitors. The meeting notice was published in the Buffalo County News and the full agenda posted per WI Statutes 19.84 on February 10, 2023. A Motion by Supervisor Ron Kazmierczak was made to approve the Minutes as provided to board members in lieu of reading out loud. Supervisor Lee Engfer seconded the motion. Carried. Treasurer Barbara Brommer gave the Treasurer’s report and Investment Summary. Balance on hand as of tonight is $269,094.97 in the General Checking Account with one outstanding check. Discussed Cemetery investment – Bank of Alma has a 1-YR CD at 4%. Lee made a Motion to accept the Treasurer’s report as read and change the Cemetery CD to Bank of Alma from Alliance Bank. Ron Kaz seconded the Motion. Carried. The Clerk presented the bills for payment. A motion was made by Lee and seconded by Ron Kaz to pay the bills as presented. Motion carried. ROAD REPORT: Lee noted Rose Valley Road has a sunken culvert by Dillinger and needs more gravel shouldering in spring. Buffalo County will be meeting to discuss when the spring road bans will be implemented this week. Ron presented the Bridge Inspection report he received for Rose Valley. Maintenance issues will be completed in spring. The next regular scheduled meeting will be Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 7 pm. At 7:20 pm Lee made a motion to adjourn with Ron Kaz seconding. Motion carried. The 2022 Financial Audit was conducted after the meeting by the Board. All financial accounts were certified correct and in order by the Board.
