Regular Board Meeting — Minutes

Town of Belvidere REGULAR MEETING September 13, 2022, 7:00 PM Cochrane VFW Post 10406 Chairman Ron Speltz called the meeting to order. All Board members present and no visitors. The meeting notice was published in the Buffalo County News and the full agenda posted per WI Statutes 19.84 on September 12, 2022. A Motion by Supervisor Ron Kazmierczak was made to approve the Minutes as provided to board members in lieu of reading out loud. Supervisor Lee Engfer seconded the motion. Carried. Treasurer Barbara Brommer gave the Treasurer’s report and Investment Summary. Balance on hand as of tonight is $299,362.14 with no outstanding checks in the General Checking Account. Ron Kaz made a Motion to accept the Treasurer’s report as read. Lee seconded the Motion. Carried. The Clerk presented the bills for payment. A motion was made by Lee and seconded by Ron Kaz to pay the bills as presented. Motion carried. NEW BUSINESS: The Clerk presented information from Town Web Design to upgrade Belvidere’s current website. The price of $799.00 includes a complete upgrade and one- time setup fee. Also included is a no-cost website design every three years. Free Technical support will continue as in the past. After further board discussion, Ron Kaz made a motion to approve the upgrade with Lee seconding. Motion carried. ROADS: Chairman Speltz reported that seal coating bid by Scott Construction will be completed this week. Rose Valley blacktopping has been delayed due to work crew shortage. He will contact Sendelbach to complete the fall roads rock grading. Final roadside mowing will hopefully be completed this month by Duellman. Tri-Community Fire Dept provided details of $587.68 town 2023 budget increase. Budget percentage stayed the same at 31%. Total 2023 Budget is $44,543.77. No update on BBC&M contract. Cochrane and Cyrus are still working on this. The next regular scheduled meeting will be Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 7 pm. At 7:33 pm Lee made a motion to adjourn with Ron Kaz seconding.
