ScoƩ Feraro, Chris Williamson Others present: Michele Klein, Travis Williamson, Judith Ganger, Mike Adank, the Pledge of Allegiance was recited. CiƟzen comments. No public comments received. MoƟon Chris, second ScoƩ to approve the minutes of the January 8, 2026, Planning Zoning Economic Development meeƟng. MoƟon carried and the minutes were approved. MoƟon ScoƩ second Chris to forward a recommendaƟon to the council to approve the Re- Zoning PeƟƟon check list. MoƟon carried. Items discussed: Engine Breaking ordinance. In progress. Engine breaking would require a vehicle to have a muŋe installed and working properly to be used in City limits. Develop a Ňyer to help with building permits. Will convert leƩer to a Ňyer. 4-Hour parking areas. Asked Urben Development group to look at. I would like to get an outside nonbiased perspecƟve. Trailer parking on City Streets. Need to develop and add to the parking ordinance. New check list / building permit request form. At legal for review and Įnial draŌ. Rental Ordinance. CommiƩee will draŌ a resoluƟon to recommend to council a 1-year freeze on rentals / B&Bs in Fountain City. This will give the city Ɵme to gather informaƟon and develop an ordinance for long-term development goals. Removing barriers in zoning ordinance #8 that restrict Economic Development. Improving commiƩee communicaƟon between council members and the public. Future meeƟng items: Zoning map review. Sidewalk enforcement. What is expected?
