Public Works / Streets / Recycling CommiƩee July 21,2025 – 5:00 pm note agenda had incorrect date (July 21,2023) Minutes prepared by: Peter Schaīner The meeƟng was called to order at 5:00 pm by Peter Schaīner. Roll call: Peter Schaīner Barb Schmidtknecht, David Endres. Others present: Mayor Ben Adank, Gill Adams arrived at 5:25. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. MoƟon Barb, second David to approve the minutes of the July 21, 2025 meeƟng. MoƟon carried and the minutes were approved. ConsideraƟon for portable speed bumps was conƟnued. Further informaƟon is needed. Public works projects review. QuesƟons as to when Hill Street will by completed. Other projects are on schedule or completed. 2026 project planning conƟnues with the following list to date: Road work Chip Seal Wagner Road Main Street Dain Repairs Purchase new tractor with side arm mower Portable Speed bumps/ tables Purchase new F550 New well Replace water meter at well Generator at liŌ staƟon/ well Sport court (basketball court at park) MoƟon Barb, second David to forward a recommendaƟon to council to approve the facility grant change order #2 at a cost of $11,127.00. Change order adds an A/C unit to the exisƟng furnace in the basement of the old secƟon of the Auditorium. MoƟon carried Peter abstained. MoƟon Barb, second David to forward a recommendaƟon to council to approve the City enter a contract with Cintas to provide uniforms to the Public Works staī. Cost is $53.46 per week. MoƟon carried unanimously. A policy for connecƟng to city uƟliƟes was discussed. Peter will gather more informaƟon. MoƟon Peter, second David to adjourn, MoƟon carried and the meeƟng adjourned at 6:17 pm.
