August 13, 2026 PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE 9:00 a.m. City Hall 314 N Main St., Alma, WI Chairperson Davie Meier called the meeting to order with the following members present: Loren Mueller and Perry Iberg. Also present: Mayor Richard Champeny via Zoom and Clerk-Treasurer Sharaya Reed. Agenda Item 1: Kayak Launch Update The launch is in. Agenda Item 2: Pavillion at Beach Update Just waiting on electrical to be done. Agenda Item 3: Well at the Marina Discussion over cost sharing with Marina. Marina proposed paying for new well, but the City would then intern not charge a sewer bill. The City needs more figures to review. Need to know what a new well would cost to put in, what the Marina pays a year & over the last five in sewer bills, what the pumping bill is, and the terms of the lease agreement. Agenda Item 4: Rieck’s Lake Park Rip Rap Update Check the status of the Water Quality Trade. Table for status. Agenda Item 5: Any other items properly brought before the committee Foreman Wick let the committee know that he is looking to purchase a skid loader as the current one is getting close to the max hours of use. Motion by Mueller seconded by Iberg to adjourn. All members voting yes.
