Park & Rec Minutes 07/14/2026

July 14, 2026 PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE 9:00 a.m. City Hall 314 N Main St., Alma, WI Chairperson Davie Meier called the meeting to order with the following members present: Loren Mueller and Perry Iberg. Also present: Mayor Richard Champeny and Clerk-Treasurer Sharaya Reed. Agenda Item 1: Handicap Swing at Parks Signs are being ordered for each park. Agenda Item 2: Kayak Launch Update Motion by Mueller seconded by Iberg to approve the quote of $3,968.70 for installing one at Breckow’s Landing. Agenda Item 3: Grills at Riecks Park & Buena Vista Two new ones still need to be installed. Need to decide if there needs to be more. Agenda Item 4: Pavillion Update This is still in the process of getting the concrete to be poured. Agenda Item 6: Little League Shed Ok to be done by the committee. Agenda Item 5: New Well at Marina Fedie proposed $6,800 to conduct 60’ test to see if the water quality is better. This will be discussed with Dennis. Motion by Mueller seconded by Iberg to adjourn. All members voting yes.
