April 14, 2026 PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE 10:00 a.m.
Chairperson Davie Meier called the meeting to order with the following members present: Loren Mueller
and Perry Iberg.
Also present: Mayor Richard Champeny, Clerk-Treasurer Sharaya Reed, and Foreman Joe Wick.
Agenda Item 1: Update on Banners for America 250
The banners would be too expensive. Skip for this year.
Agenda Item 2: Update on Rip Rap at Rieck’s Park
Table for now to see if this project qualifies for the water trade program.
Agenda Item 3: Update on Pavillion at Beach
The site needs to be prepared for installation. Will look at next meeting.
Agenda Item 5: Update on Bathroom Signs for Beach
The signs are ordered and in production.
Agenda Item 4: Estimate on Floor & Wall Coating at Beach House
Table till next meeting to view the condition of them.
Agenda Item 6: Picnic Tables
Table to decide how many to get.
Agenda Item 7: Any other items
Foreman Wick let the committee know that the trees have been cut down at Buena Vista next to the
bathrooms.
Next meeting to be a mobile meeting to view the parks.
Motion by Mueller seconded by Iberg to adjourn. All members voting yes.
