MoƟon to approve the minutes of the 8-26-25 meeƟng by Johns, seconded by Johnson. 4. MoƟon by Johnson to move the conƟngency funds balance to the roads budget to pay for the $171,000 truck purchase. Mark Johns Vice Chair Town of Spider Lake, County of Sawyer, State of Wisconsin RESOLUTION NO. 1-2026 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE TOWN BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026 WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Spider Lake adopted the Town’s annual budget for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2026, in accordance with Wisconsin law; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend the adopted budget to reflect changes in revenues and/or expenditures not anticipated at the time the original budget was adopted; and WHEREAS, Wisconsin Statutes § 65.90(5)(a) authorizes the Town Board to amend the budget by a two-thirds vote of the entire membership of the Town Board; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Board of the Town of Spider Lake, Sawyer County, Wisconsin, that the Town’s budget for the fiscal year 2026 is hereby amended as follows: Budget Amendment Detail Fund Account Decrease Revenues Property Tax $65,000 Capital Purchase F450 Pickup $65,000 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this amendment does not increase the Town’s total levy beyond that previously authorized, unless specifically stated herein; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Clerk is directed to record this resolution in the Town’s official records and adjust the Town’s financial records accordingly.
