Park & Rec Minutes 02/10/2026

February 10, 2026 PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE 10:00 a.m. Chairperson Davie Meier called the meeting to order with the following members present: Loren Mueller and Perry Iberg by Zoom. Also present: Mayor Richard Champeny, Clerk-Treasurer Sharaya Reed, and Foreman Joe Wick. Agenda Item 1: Purchasing picnic tables. Discussed options, timeline, and places for picnic tables. Meier looking into options from Uline Company. The company has 8’ tables for $1,070.00 a piece with an option of an ADA table being the same price. They come in thermal plastic coating, 9 gauge metal, and 2” black frame. For four 8’ tables, shipping would be $122.00. For the ADA table to ship right from the supplier would be $487.67. Grainger Company tables were $400 a piece more for their tables with shipping being $560. Iberg mentioned that we should get numbers together and prioritize what needs to be. Committee agreed to table discussion until next meeting. Agenda Item 2: Pavillion at Beach. Discussed option of looking into using CAPX2020 monies for the pavilion. Agenda Item 3: Any other items. Foreman Wick mentioned to the committee that he will be getting prices for a lawn mower for the beach. Motion by Mueller seconded by Iberg to adjourn. All members voting yes.
