Historical Preservation Minutes 01/20/2026

Jan. 20, 2026 HISTORICAL PRESERVATION ADVISORY COMMISSION 9:00 a.m. Chairman Jeremy Fernholz called the meeting to order with the following members present: Sandra Ebert, Max Bachhuber, and David Earney. Perry Iberg – Absent. Others present: Mary Roiland – applicant, Clerk Sharaya Reed, and Mayor Rick Champeny. Agenda Item 1a: Building permit – Mary Roiland – 109 S. 2nd St. Mary Roiland made an application for installing windows in the belfry of the church and making two bedrooms in it. Max Bachhuber, Jr. said he was pleased with the work done so far on the church. Roiland explained that the look of the windows and shades will blend in with the coloring of the belfry as not to be noticeable. Motion by Earney seconded by Bachhuber to approve the proposal of Mary Roiland’s building application for installing windows in the belfry and two bedrooms at the property located at 109 S. 2nd St. All members voting yes. Motion by Earney seconded by Ebert to adjourn. All members voting yes.
