Buffalo County Minutes Committee/Board: Committee of the Board Date of Meeting: June 17, 2026 Chair Bork called the meeting to order. Committee Members Present: Mr. Dennis Bork, Mr. Max Weiss, Mr. Steve Nelson, Mr. Mike Taylor, and Mr. Chris Lindstrom. Other Present for All or Part of the Meeting: Mr. Lee Engfer Verification of Open Meetings Law Compliance: Mr. Engfer verified that the meeting was properly noticed. Approve Agenda: No changes to the agenda as presented. Approve Minutes of the Previous Meeting: Mr. Weiss made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Mr. Taylor. Carried. Public Comment: None. Review/Discussion/Action Regarding Election of Vice-Chair: Mr. Bork made a motion to nominate Mr. Weiss, seconded by Mr. Lindstrom. Motion to close nominations and cast a unanimous ballot for Mr. Weiss made by Mr. Taylor. Carried. Review/Discussion/Action Regarding Election of Member to the Executive Committee: Mr. Weiss nominated Mr. Lindstrom. Mr. Taylor nominated Mr. Nelson. A paper vote was done. Mr. Nelson was appointed to the Executive Committee. Review/Discussion/Action Regarding a Resolution to Amend the Rules of Government: Motion to approve the resolution was made by Mr. Nelson, seconded by Mr. Taylor. Carried. Committee Chair Reports: Mr. Nelson advised that he met with Ms. Carri Renchin to better understand DHHS matters. Chairperson Report: None County Administrator Report: None. Correspondence: None.
