The purpose of this request is to enhance safety for all residents, visitors, pedestrians, and motorists who use this roadway. After requesting the change and having our request denied several years ago, the City continues to observe increased traffic and pedestrian traffic, now along with ATV/UTV usage, that lead to many safety concerns. We believe that reducing the speed limit will create a safer environment for the community. We kindly ask that you review and consider this request as soon as possible. Thank you for your attention to this important matter. Please let us know if you require any additional information, or if you wish to discuss this further please contact Mayor Ben Holien at 507-450-5127.
