BUFFALO COUNTY MINUTES Committee of the Board: Economic Development Committee Date of the Meeting: Tuesday, December 2, 2025 Call to Order: Meeting called to order at 9:00 a.m. Board Members Present: Mr. Gary Stanton, Mr. Michael Taylor, Mr. Brian Michaels and Ms. Mary Anne McMillan Urell. Mr. John Hadley was excused. Others Present for All or Part of the Meeting: Mr. Lee Engfer and Mr. Dave Carlson. Public Comments Regarding Agenda Items: None. Review/Discussion/Action regarding the Previous Meeting Minutes: Ms. McMillan Urell made a motion to approve the minutes of the September 18, 2025, meeting, seconded by Mr. Taylor. Carried. Review/Discussion/Action Regarding Monroe County Tourism Conference: The conference was discussed and Mr. Taylor will attend. Review/Discussion/Action Regarding Goals of the Economic Development Committee to Push Via the Consultant: The goals set are on track. Gary and Michelle with the City of Mondovi met with Mr. Carlson. Review/Discussion/Action Regarding Flyway Trail Update: There is a dead deer on the trail that needs to be removed. Review/Discussion/Action Regarding New Business/Industry Update: Discussions with the perspective business are ongoing. They are looking at another site outside of the county as well. Review/Discussion/Action Regarding MRRPC Update: Nothing to report. Review/Discussion Regarding the Committee Chair Report: No report. Review/Discussion Regarding the Administrative Coordinator Report: Mr. Engfer reported that B & S Express and The Coffee Camper received recognition by the Small Business Development Group recently.
