R E S O L U T I O N N O.: 6—2023-24
TO THE HONORABLE, THE OUTAGAMIE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: 2/3 MAJORITY – 24 VOTES
It is necessary that various accounts of Outagamie County be closed as of December 1
31, 2022, except special funds, commonly known as Revolving Funds, which are 2
in the best interest of Outagamie County to remain intact. The budget adjustments 3
will be made to the 2023 budget. 4
5
Resolution 3—2023-24, also presented to the County Board on April 18, 2023, 6
included the majority of the requested County’s Revolving Funds for the year 2022 7
into 2023. However, the resolution did not include the Highway Department 8
Revolving Funds, as the amounts were not available at that time. 9
10
This resolution approves the Highway Department related revolving funds that 11
were not included in the original requested resolution. These items will be included 12
in the budget adjustments that will be made to the 2023 budget. 13
14
NOW THEREFORE, the undersigned members of the Finance Committee recommend 15
adoption of the following resolution. 16
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Outagamie County Board of Supervisors does authorize and 17
approve of all excess or deficiency of revenues over/under expenditures and unexpended 18
appropriations of the various accounts reverting back to the County’s General Fund or from the 19
General Fund as indicated in the attached fiscal note and summary pages, with the exception of 20
those expenses, revenues or transfers as detailed in the attachments, which by reference are made 21
a part hereof, and 22
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, unless detailed otherwise on the attachment, that should 23
any closed projects have excess funding (except highway project funded that will be applied to the 24
following year’s budget), those funds will be returned to the General Fund, or if legally required, 25
to the Debt Service fund, and 26

copy of this resolution to the Outagamie County Finance Director. 5
