Special Board Meeting — Minutes

VILLAGE OF FOOTVILLE SPECIAL BOARD MEETING MONDAY, JULY 13, 2026 at 6:00 PM Meeting called to order at 6:00 p.m. by J. Thomson 1. ROLL CALL – Present – J. Thomson, N. Conaway, S. Haberman, C. Hagmann, D. Harnack, R. Nath, and D. Wells 2. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA Motion by N. Conaway to approve the agenda. 2 nd by C. Hagmann. Motion carried 7-0 3. MOVE INTO CLOSED SESSION: The Footville Board of Trustees will move into closed session pursuant to Wisconsin State Statute §19.85(1)(c) to interview and consider employment of applicants for the positions of Clerk-Treasurer, Deputy Clerk-Treasurer and DPW Supervisor Motion by N, Conaway to go into closed session. 2nd by C. Hagmann. Roll call vote taken. N. Conaway – Yes; S. Haberman – Yes; C. Hagmann – Yes; D. Harnack – Yes; R. Nath – Yes; D. Wells – Yes; J. Thomson – Yes Motion carried 7-0 4. RECONVENE INTO OPEN SESSION Motion by C. Hagmann to go into open session. 2nd by S. Haberman. Motion carried 7-0 at 8:15 p.m. 5. DISCUSSION/REVIEW/POSSIBLE ACTION: Take action on any matters discussed in closed session. Motion by N. Conaway to extend conditional offer of employment to Tyler Brooks for the position of DPW Director starting August 10 th. 2nd by S. Haberman. Motion carried 7-0 Motion by N. Conaway to extend conditional offer of employment to Cassie Lambert for the position of Clerk with starting date to be determined. 2 nd by R. Nath. Motion carried 7-0 Motion by N. Conaway to extend conditional offer of employment to Michelle McDearmon for the position of Treasurer with starting date to be determined. 2 nd by D. Wells. Motion carried 7-0 N. Conaway will contact all these individuals by phone and extend the offer of employment to them. Closed session will be on Thursday night’s agenda to allow for any additional discussion. 6.
