VILLAGE OF FOOTVILLE-MEETING NOTICE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2026 MINUTES 1. The February 13, 2026, meeting of the Village of Footville Parks and Recreation Committee was called to order by Chairperson Danielle Harnack. Committee members present: Danielle Harnack, Roland Nath, and David Wells. 2. Update on the ball diamond upgrade : Brian Givens is still working on the ball diamond upgrade. There should be more information at the Economic Development Committee meeting on February 23, 2026. 3. Plans for taking over the Viking Y outh Concession Stand: The non-profit Friends of Footville Parks will be taking over the Viking Youth concession stand this summer. The Footville Outlaws will run their stand themselves. 4. Ideas for fundraisers : The Parks and Recreation Committee will be looking into a golf fundraiser this summer. The money will be going to new playground equipment. We will have pictures of different equipment with pricing. The committee will also ask for local opinions for which one they prefer for the children. 5. Ideas on items/equipment to purchase with fundraiser money: The committee will choose what piece of equipment works best for the money raised and the residents’ opinions. 6. Ideas for the Stone Pavilion: Ideas for the stone pavilion are: getting a quote for a new roof, touch-up work to the stone pillars and the fireplace, and getting a quote for resurfacing the cement floor with concrete coatings. The committee will get quotes and ideas from Marty Lavery and Chuck Duncan. 7. Preliminary discussion on other matters not proposed for action: Danielle Harnack talked about starting to plan for the Park’s 100th Anniversary next summer. Roland Nath mentioned a fireworks display. David Wells discussed options of additional fundraisers to pay for them. 8. ADJOURNMENT: Motion to adjourn by Roland Nath, 2nd by David Wells.
