COMMITTEE ON COMMITTEES & RULES Tuesday, April 15, 2025 Third Floor County Board Room Call Meeting to Order: Chairman Jim Metz called the meeting to order at 11:09 a.m. Members Present: Jim Metz, Scott Mildbrand, Diane Albrecht, Rollie Thums, Lisa Carbaugh and Bud Suckow. Members Absent: None. Other Attendees: Lorie Floyd, Casey Belgram and Andria Farrand. Approve the Agenda: Motion by Thums, seconded by Albrecht, to approve the agenda. Motion carried. Approve the minutes of the April 11, 2024 and April 16, 2024 Committee on Committees and Rules committee meetings: Motion by Mildbrand, seconded by Albrecht, to approve the minutes of both meetings. Motion carried. Discuss and act on changes to standing committee appointments: The committee made the following changes: Price-Taylor Rail Trail Corridor Commission: Bud Suckow added as alternate. Local Emergency Planning Committee: Rob Summerfield replaced James Edming. CCOP/CST Joint Advisory Committee: Added Sue Swiantek as an alternate. There was discussion about committees that were changed from 3 to 5 members a few years ago. There was also discussion about looking at the number of lay members on the committees.
