VILLAGE OF FOOTVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MONDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2025 MINUTES 1. The meeting of the Village of Footville Planning Commission was called to order at 6:01 pm by chairperson Sandy Baertsc hi. 2. Commission members present: Sandy Baertschi, Wes Noble, Marilyn Runaas, and John Thomson. Absent: David Stelter. Also present: Karr ie Laws and Gloria Powers. 3. Identify residential properties requiring clean -up: A property on Janesville Street has septic issues. The Plan Commission will invite the property owner to the next Plan Commission meeting to discuss his plans for correcting this issue. Two other properties on Depot St reet were discussed. Motion by J. Thomson, 2 nd by Wes Noble to send letters to the property owners regarding upkeep of their properties. Motion carried unanimously. 4. Review status of properties previously notified via clean -up letters and determine further actions: One property owner has been working to clean up their property. Several other properties have not made any progress. As soon as the Village has new officers in place, they will deal with properties in violation of the ordinances. 5. Review status of business park properties previously notified of covenant requirements and determine further actions : Sun Mechanicals and Hoff Plumbing have planted trees. Progress has been made on the Mielke property; work is progressing on the building and part of the lot has been leveled. 6. Planning ideas for the proposed new subdivision: The Economic Development Committee is working on creating incentives for the developer. Once these incentives are approved the Plan Commission will work with them to decide on the specifics for the proposed new subdivision. 7. DISCUSSION ON OTHER MATTERS NOT PROPOSED FOR ACTION: Marilyn Runaas noted a new subdivision is being proposed in Plymouth township . It would be located near Bass Creek Golf Course. 8.
