Trawicki noted that the organization has not had a youth representative for some time, yet a

representative be appointed in the future, any mileage reimbursement would be paid from the
general fund.
Dave Roiger made a motion to eliminate the youth rep account and transfer the balance to the
general fund. Ann Weymouth seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously – all ayes.
Annual Financial Report Proposal
Dave Roiger suggested that it would be beneficial for the treasurer to produce an annual
financial report to provide a year -over-year overview of the council’s financial status. Trawicki
agreed and committed to compiling reports from the past several years to help identify financial
trends. She will present this information at the first meeting of each year moving forward.
Pine Line Welcome Sign Proposal
The Prentice Brush Benders are installing a “Welcome to Price County” sign along the Pine Line
at the county line. They invited Taylor County to consider placing a corresponding sign on our
side. While Taylor County would be responsible for the cost of the sign, the Brush Benders
offered to provide the posts. Installation is planned for this fall.
Discussion followed regarding the need to determine the cost of the sign before making a final
decision. Members expressed support for the concept during discussion.

are necessary to balance the budget. Several options to reduce costs or increase revenue
were included. He asked that this be reviewed at club meetings.
• Any increase in price to snowmobile registration or trail passes requires legislative
change and it would be a minimum two years before it would be possible for these
changes to take effect.

• A lot of discussion on fee increases occurred. Still seeking more feedback from clubs.
• Bob reminded clubs to review the rules regarding club raffles so that they are conducted

to provide feedback from clubs on previous discussion regarding fee increases. After

registration going from $30 to $45, resident trail passes going from $30 to $40, non -

Williams will work to provide an answer at the next meeting.
