CITY OF MAYVILLE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY/ENHANCEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING - AMENDED MINUTES JULY 22, 2026 5:00 PM MAYVILLE CITY HALL 1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL The meeting was called to order at 05:00 PM by Mayor Boelk, with the following roll call: Present: Mayor Rob Boelk, Nicole Goodwin, Lisa Neumann, Ald. Molly Henkel. Excused: LaToya Bates. Absent: Rachel Smith and Tara Kennedy. Staff present: Clerk/Executive Assistant Anastasia Gonstead. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by those in attendance. 3. CITIZEN COMMENTS None. 4. DISCUSS CDA FUND BALANCES 4.1. Monthly Facade Grant Balance The monthly facade grant balance was reviewed. 5. DISCUSS WITH POSSIBLE ACTION 5.1. Approval of Minutes of the June 24, 2026, Community Development Authority/Enhancements Committee Meeting The motion to approve the minutes of the June 24, 2026, Community Development Authority/Enhancements Committee meeting was made by Ald. Henkel and seconded by L. Neumann. Ayes: Mayor Boelk, N. Goodwin, L.Neumann, Ald. Henkel Nays: None Vote Count: 4 - 0 Motion has Passed 5.2. Discuss, with Possible Action, Facade Grant Request for Neu Property Management LLC Business: Nations Lending, 105 S Main Street Amount Requested: $1,930.95 Clerk/Executive Assistant Gonstead explained that awarding facade grants any further into this year would have to come out of other Community Development Authority funds, as the amount earmarked for grants this year have already been used. Mayor Boelk also explained he intends to budget funds into the Community Development Authority for 2027. The motion to approve $1,930.95 facade grant for 105 S. Main Street was made by Ald. Henkel and seconded by N. Goodwin. Ayes: Mayor Boelk, N. Goodwin, L. Neumann, Ald. Henkel. Nays: None Vote Count: 4 - 0 Motion has Passed 5.3. Discuss, with Possible Action, Facade Grant Request for Neu Property Management LLC Business: Jon Jacobs Jewelry Co., 115 S Main Street Amount Requested: $1,772.81 The motion to approve $1,772.81 facade grant for 115 S. Main Street, pending receipt of the color scheme prior to the commencement of work, was made by Ald. Henkel and seconded by N. Goodwin. Ayes: Mayor Boelk, N. Goodwin, L. Neumann, Ald. Henkel. Nays: None. Vote Count: 4 - 0 Motion has Passed. 5.4. Discuss, with Possible Recommendation, Window Covering Options for Vacant Downtown Buildings A consensus was reached to table to the August Community Development Authority/Enhancements Committee meeting. 5.5. Discuss, with Possible Action, a Mayville Photo Contest A consensus was reached to table to the August Community Development Authority/Enhancements Committee meeting. 5.6. Overview of the Annual Mayor's Beautification Award Voting on the Mayor's Beautification Award will be at the Community Development Authority/Enhancements Committee meeting in August. 5.7. Discuss, with Possible Action, Dodge County Downtown Improvement Grant Application Mayor Boelk provided the Committee an overview of the additional information requested by Dodge County while they consider the City's grant submission. The Commission expressed a desire for the City to compile the additional information to continue with the grant process. 6. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS None. 7. NEXT MEETING DATE AND TIME 7.1.
