Theresa Public Library Meeting Minutes DRAFT March 10, 2026 Present: Mary Alice Bodden, Diane Steger, Jody Steger, Ty Breitlow, Angie Anderson, Kris Groeschel, Callie Adelmeyer, Absent: Kelly Gengler Guests: Rick Steger, Becky Tellier, Officer Daniel Markus, Christine Steger Meeting called to order by President Diane Steger just after 4:00 p.m. Minutes: January 20, 2026 meeting minutes motion to approve by Diane Steger, seconded by Ty Breitlow. Motion carried. Treasurer Report: Treasurer, Angie Anderson, reports account balances. Credit card limit was increased automatically, Angie had it returned to the original limit. Bills motion to approve by Jody Steger. Seconded by Angie Anderson. Motion carried. Old Business: Fiscal agent change to Theresa township clerk (currently Christine Steger) was motioned by Ty Breitlow. Seconded by Diane Steger. Motion carried. This is the second approval by the board. Kris Groeschel is now in attendance. Updated by-laws Article III.3 and Article VI to align with the necessary change of fiscal agent representative . Ty Breitlow made a motion to waive a second vote and accept the change immediately. Diane Steger seconded. Motion carried. Directors Report: Mary Alice provided March, April, and May calendar of events and presented the 2025 community impact. Update given to new staffing position not with original candidate, but still possibly pursuing new candidates. Circulation data presented motion to approve by Kris Groeschel. Seconded by Angie Anderson. Motion carried. Budget spreadsheet presented. Motion to approve by Jody Steger. Seconded by Diane Steger. Motion carried. New Business: Insurance : Workers’ compensation insurance will need to be moved to the town due to fiscal agent change. All other insurance will remain shared with the Village, and the library will continue paying their portion. May be advantageous to seek quotes on separate policies, but not an immediate need. Amended Joint Agreement Draft: Angie Anderson motioned to present to both town and village boards as is. Kris Groeschel seconded. Motion carried. Elections: Diane to serve as President for one more year. Angie to serve as treasurer for one more year. Kris retiring from secretary. Callie will begin as secretary.
