Senior Activities Committee Meeting Minutes Thursday August 13, 2026 Call to Order at 12:02 pm Attendance: Rose Gorski, Joanne Mueller, Nancy Osborne, Sarah Bultman, Lauren Procknow, Therese Abitz, Pat Lund-Moe. Excused: Lisa Springstroh Introductions as needed- none Agenda Changes-none Approval of June 11, 2026 meeting minutes: Gorkski/Mueller, approved Thank you cards for speakers and donors signed during meeting-none Review of activities since last meeting: June 15th: Vintage Tech day with library: went well, try a different time of year; interactive items and inter-generational is important July 13th: Coffee and Convo: Stroke information-very informative and helpful (16 people) July 23rd: Trout Museum tour and lunch – tour and lunch very enjoyable (13 people) August 3rd: cookout at Alonzo and Bingo : good day (14 people) Upcoming Activities: August 17th: Wisconsin Foody video (cheese): Sarah will coordinate, 12:30 for set-up August 25th: tour of Creekside Creamery: set for us to attend; meet there Foot Care to begin on September 21st; would like to have flyers; Pat will contact Diane Communications-Calendars: September calendars-volunteer distribution to locations Village Voice article due August 14th: review article and plans Sept 7th: Labor Day (closed) Sept 17th10 am: Field Trip to Mosquito Hill; focus on bees; rsvp by 9/15 Set. 21: Cake Picnic; all bring a cake and container to take some home, Sarah coordinating October 5th: skip due to Autumn Fest October 13th: Autumn Fest October 20th: Possible screening by OST or craft November 2nd: Election prep (no gathering) November 10th: OST screening November 16th: Veterans’ Day coffee December 7th: skip December 14th: Holiday party- baked potato bar again; Rose will ask re music; Autumn Fest: Menu planning- soup main dish (Pat contact Donaldson’s) cheese platter (Sarah) buns (Pat) ice cream (Pat submit request to Cedarcrest) Sponsor and agency booth updates: 2 gold sponsors; 3 silver = $1750 Flyer---Lauren, Sarah, and Pat will update and get in Village Voice Decorations and supplies: need to inventory, will also need soup cups/bowls Items for Future Agendas: Autumn Fest 2026 4th Monday Tours of Senior Centers/discussion of options Potlucks re-evaluation Future meeting dates: October 8th and November 12th Adjournment at 1:38; Bultman/Gorski; adjourned
