Board of Review Minutes August 6, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. Town of Scott Town Hall - 2621 Jody Dr., New Franken, WI 54229 1. Call the Board of Review (BOR) to order & Meeting Recording Announcement. A meeting of the Board of Review of the Town of Scott was called to order at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Town Hall by Board of Review Chair Mike Van Lanen. An announcement was made stating the meeting will be recorded. 2. Roll Call. Present were: Mike Van Lanen, Debbie VandenLangenberg, Kurt Baenen, and Gene Wojcik. Excused was Norm Strebel. Also present: Clerk/Treasurer Jaime Fuge, Assessors Sally Brunner, Scott Alvey (Forward Appraisal), Nichole Tesch (Forward Appraisal). 3. Verification of Notice of Meeting (Published online on May 13, 2026, and posted at Town Hall) Fuge noted the notification was published for this meeting on May 13, 2026, online as well as being posted on the website. Fuge noted the agenda was posted last week for the meeting. Moved by Baenen, seconded by Wojcik to approve the notice. Yes-4, No-). Motion carried. 4. Approve the minutes of May 12, 2026, Board of Review meeting. (These were approved at the June 12, 2026, Town Board Meeting). 5. Act on scheduling additional BOR Date(s) Brunner stated the open book has not happened yet due to a system glitch with Catalis. The glitch is now fixed. She proposed the following dates: August 7: Publish 1 st class notice of the Board of Review Date/Open Book 8/10: Mail notices of new assessment. 8/24-9/3: Open Book 9/10: Board of Review Van Lanen asked about the delay in the dates. Brunner recapped the system delay. Brunner added the website has been updated with new BOR information. Moved by Van Lanen, seconded by VandenLangenberg to schedule the next Board of Review meeting to September 10, 2026 at 10 a.m. Yes-4, No-0. Motion carried. 6. Adjournment.
