Park Committee Meeting Minutes June 11, 2025 at 9:30 p.m. 1. Call to order/Roll Call. Meeting was called to order by Lemoine at 9:37 a.m. Present: Erin Lemoine, Cheryl Lardinois, Tory Haney, Economic Development Coordinator Dave Cerny. Excused: Gina Kiley and Bailey Vanden Langenberg. Visitors; Supervisor Cari Langenberg and Cindy Champeau. 2. Review/take action on Park Committee Minutes – June 4, 2025 Motion: Lardinois, Seconded by: Haney. To approve the Minutes of June 4, 2025, as submitted. All in favor, motion carried. 3. Review/take action on proposed Park Committee fund raising event. Lengthy discussion on fund raising planning and details, including: • After researching available dates ; it was recommended that the best day to hold a fall event would be September 27, 2025. • How to get the word out ; make an announcement in the Town ‘s Newsletter, advertise on the website, physical signage like the Fire Department does, postings in local establishments, etc. • Specifics of the fund-raising event; o Hold a ‘buck-raffle’; and the need to determine the total amount that will put out, and who will sponsor the buckets. o Consider a 50/50 raffle and a meat raffle. • The logistics of the event; where exactly will it be held, need to make alternate plans if it rains, need to provide porta-potties, provide some food (such as a brat fry, soda, booyah). • Specific tasks need to be assigned and managed for; advertising, contacting local business owners (Fire Department Inspection List), establishing a ‘bucket list’ and list of raffle items, borrowing picnic tables. • The need to form a non-profit fund raising organization, obtaining licensing from the State, etc. 4. Park Improvements and Planning for 2025 None, waiting for and update on playground equipment for St. Killian’s Park. 5. Communications None 6.
