TOWN OF AZTALAN TOWN BOARD MEETING MINUTES DECEMBER 5, 2024 PUBLIC HEARING 1. Call Public Hearing to Order / Pledge of Allegiance - Chair Chwala called the board meeting to order at 6:00 pm. Present: Chair Jeremy Chwala, Supervisor Larry Christianson Also present: Treasurer Teresa Keeser and Clerk Kathleen Pitzner. Absent: Supervisor Megan Dunneisen This meeting was held at Aztalan Town Hall located at W6260 County Rd B, Jefferson WI 53549 2. Proof of Posting and Notice - Clerk Pitzner stated that the notice for this meeting was posted to the Town website and the three posting boxes in Aztalan on November 20, 2024 . No comments by those in attendance. Chair Chwala stated the Public Hearing would remain in session for 5 minutes. Clerk Pitzner stated that the recording would be stopped and turned back on at 6:05 pm. No comments. 3. Adjournment - Supervisor Christianson moved, Chair Chwala seconded the motion to adjourn the public hearing at 6:06pm. SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF ELECTORS 1. Call meeting to Order - Chair Chwala called the board meeting to order at 6:07 pm 2. Proof of Posting and Notice - Clerk Pitzner stated that the notice for this meeting was posted to the Town website and the three posting boxes in Aztalan on November 20, 2024 . 3. Discussion and possible action to adopt the 2024 Town Tax Levy to be collected in 2025 pursuant to Section 60.10(2)(a) of Wisconsin Statutes. - Sherry Lange moved, Merlin Lange seconded the motion to adopt the 2024 Town Tax Levy to be collected in 2025 as presented. Motion carried unanimously. 4. Adjournment - Clerk Pitzner moved, Sherry Lange seconded the motion to adjourn the Special Town Meeting of Electors at 6:08pm. Motion carried .
