TOWN OF AZTALAN SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF ELECTORS MEETING MINUTES NOVEMBER 30, 2023 Immediately following the Public Hearing for the Proposed 2024 Budget, which begins at 6:00 pm AZTALAN TOWN HALL – W6260 COUNTY RD B – JEFFERSON, WI 53549 Note: Town of Aztalan Budget Public Hearing was held immediately prior to this meeting: Chair Chwala called the meeting to order at 6pm, no comments/questions by attending electors, hearing adjourned at 6:03pm 1. Call to Order/Pledge of Allegiance - Jeremy Chwala called the board meeting to order at 6:04pm. Present: Chair Jeremy Chwala, Supervisor Larry Christianson, Supervisor Megan Dunneisen Also present: Treasurer Teresa Keeser, and Clerk Kathleen Pitzner Other Electors present: Scott Masche, Mike Burow, John Drake This meeting was held at Aztalan Town Hall located at W6260 County Rd B, Jefferson WI 53549. 2. Proof of Posting and Notice - Clerk Pitzner stated that the notice for the Budget Public Hearing, Special Town Meeting of Electors, and Special Town Board Meeting was posted on November 15, 2023 to the town website and the three posting boxes located in Aztalan and also published in the Daily Jefferson County Union on November 17, 2023. 3. Discussion and possible action to adopt the 2023 Town Tax Levy to be collected in 2024 pursuant to Section 60.10(2)(a) of Wisconsin Statutes. - Megan Dunneisen moved, Larry Christianson seconded the motion to approve the 2023 Town Tax Levy to be collected in 2024 pursuant to Section 60.10(2)(a) of Wisconsin Statutes. Motion carried. 4. Adjournment - Larry Christianson moved, Scott Masche seconded the motion to adjourn the Sp. Town Meeting of Electors at 6:10pm. Motion carried.
