AZTALAN TOWN PLAN COMMISSION MEETING MINUTESSEPTEMBER 7, 2022 @ 7:00PM 1. Call meeting to order:Chairperson Nicole Millercalled the meeting to order at 7:11pm.Also Present: Merlin Lange, Kathleen Pitzner, Klaas van ZantenAbsent: Erik Huth.The meeting was held at Aztalan Town Hall located at W6260 CTH B, Jefferson WI 53549. 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. Proof of Posting and Notice -The agenda was postedon September 5, 2022 the Town of Aztalanwebsite and in the posting boxes located at the Aztalan Town Hall; Ann Street, Lake Mills; and River HillDr, Johnson Creek. 4. Approval of Minutes - August 18, 2022 - Klaas van Zanten moved, Merlin Lange seconded the motionto approve the August 18, 2022 minutes. Motion carried. 5. Public Comment on agenda items only (limited to 3 minutes per person) 6. Business a. Discussion and possible action on the request by Lindsey Heideman-Kjendlie for a conditionaluse to allow a kennel for up to 40 dogs to include daycare and boarding. The site is at N4936Popp Road on parcel #002-0714-3433-000. The property is owned by Harvey & Barbara Simdon.Merlin Lange moved, Klaas van Zanten seconded the motion to recommend to the Aztalan TownBoard to approve the request by Lindsey Heideman-Kjendlie for a conditional use to allow akennel for up to 40 dogs to include daycare and boarding. Motion carried. b. Discussion and possible action on the request by Aztalan Cycle Club Inc. for conditional use toallow for a recreational facility (outdoor motorcycle riding/racing) directly related to open spaceuses & the necessity for rural location in a proposed A-2 zone at N6641/N6643 Gomoll Rd.Nicole Miller motioned, Merlin Lange seconded the motion to recommend to the Aztalan TownBoard to approve the request by Aztalan Cycle Club Inc. for conditional use to allow for arecreational facility (outdoor motorcycle riding/racing) directly related to open space uses & thenecessity for rural location in a proposed A-2 zone at N6641/N6643 Gomoll Rd. 7.
