26-019 Resolution approving a budget amendment for Kids-4 iMacs

City of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin Presented: March 17, 2026 Adopted: March 17, 2026 Resolution No.: 26/019 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Sun Prairie Media Center has $3,500 budgeted annually for a leasing model for replacement of their existing iMac machines; and WHEREAS, the leasing model is no longer available and staff wish to purchase eight iMacs for the Kids-4 program which require an upfront purchase; and WHEREAS, on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, the Committee of the Whole met to consider a budget amendment for $12,152 for the purchase of this equipment; and: WHEREAS, a budget amendment is needed to cover the total costs; and is as follows: Decrease Media Center Fund Balance $12,152 Increase Media Center – Machinery and Equipment $12,152 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Sun Prairie, Dane County, Wisconsin, hereby approves the budget amendment in the amount of $12,152 for the purchasing of eight iMacs for the Media Center Kids-4 program.
