Discussion and Possible Action Re: Mobile Sauna Proposal • Presentation by Rebecca & Nathan Koerschner o Multiple question by staff following presentation ▪ Have they pursued other locations in other municipalities? • Madison Parks and Dane County Parks ▪ Is this stand alone or possibly with other events? • Not anticipated to be part of any other events ▪ Food and/or beverages? • Just water ▪ Water disposal? • Considered “grey” water by Dane County, so there is a need to dispose of water via sanitary sewer ▪ Security needs? • Sauna anticipated to be left on site, locked. They would carry private insurance ▪ Reservation System? • On-line, in advance ▪ Winter logistics? • Problematic as all parks have water drained. Cutting a hole in the ice at Fireman’s could also be difficult. • The Commission members suggested working with Recreation staff to see if this could be part of a Recreation Dept offering (Vendor set up as many other activities are). No action taken 6.
