Library Board of Trustees-Verona Public Library

Wednesday, August 5, 2026, 6:30 p.m.
Present: Burkart, Conwell, Franke, Harrison, Miller, Spencer
Absent: Hopp, Jones
Call to order: Conwell called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m.
Approval of Minutes: A motion was made by Harrison, seconded by Franke, to approve the
Regular Meeting Minutes of July 1, 2026. Motion carried. Harrison motioned, seconded by
Miller, to approve the July 2026 invoices. Motion carried.
Public Comments: None
City Council Liaison Report: City of Verona AI update
Library Director’s Report: New circulation system continues to struggle with some data,
speed, etc., library is busy and going well
Old Business:
1. Discussion regarding 2027 budget
New Business: None
Adjournment: A motion was made by Harrison, seconded by Miller, to adjourn. Motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:16 pm. The next meeting will be held on September 2, at
6:30pm.
