Call to Order: Meeting called to order at 5:37 pm by Alder Beth Tucker Long. 2. Public Comment: Dale Beske 6422 Shady Bend Town of Verona spoke in opposition to the proposed public works building site located adjacent to Shady Bend due to concerns with property values, traffic, noise, and light pollution. 4. Approval of the Minutes: Moved by Alder Weiss and seconded by Alder Hernandez to approve the minutes of June 13 meeting. Motion passed 3-0. 5. Discussion and Possible Action: Water Supply Service Area Plan Strand Associates. Moved by Alder Hernandez and seconded by Alder Weiss to approve the Water Supply Service Area Plan Strand Associates. Motion passed 3-0. 6. Discussion and Possible Action: Project 2024-105 Mark Drive Reconstruction Ph 2. Pay request #1 Northwestern Stone LLC. Moved by Tucker Long and seconded by Alder Hernandez to approve Project 2024-105 Mark Drive Reconstruction Phase 2 Pay request #1 Northwestern Stone for a sum not to exceed $ 81,658.20. Motion passed 3-0. 7. Discussion and Possible Action: Project 2026-104 Pavement Crack Sealing Thunder Road LLC. Moved by Alder Weiss and seconded by Alder Hernandez to recommend approval Project 2026-104 Pavement Crack Sealing, Thunder Road LLC. for a sum not to exceed $75,250.00. Motion passed 3-0. 8. Discussion and Possible Action: New Public Works Facility Land. Move by Alder Weiss and seconded by Alder Hernandez to recommend engaging in an offer to purchase land at 6500 Shady Bend Road.
