Monona Finance and Personnel Committee Minutes June 15, 2026 Call to Order The regular meeting of the Monona Finance and Personnel Committee was called to order by Mayor Moore at 6:45 PM. Roll Call Present: Mayor Nancy Moore, Alderperson Patrick DePula and Alderperson Doug Wood Absent: None Also Present: Administrator Neil Stechschulte, Finance Director Marc Houtakker (zoom), Fire Chief Jerry McMullen (zoom), and City Clerk Christina Kahl Approval of Minutes 3.A. June 1, 2026 Motion by Alder Wood, seconded by Alder DePula to approve the June 1, 2026 meeting minutes. Motion Passed. Appearances There were no Appearances. Unfinished Business There was no Unfinished Business. New Business 6.A. Consideration of Resolution 26-6-2905 Authorizing Staff to Apply to the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program for Replacement of Radios, AEDs and Cot. Fire Chief McMullen gave some background information on this item. If approved, this would give Chief McMullen the go-ahead to write the grant. Motion by Alder DePula, seconded by Alder Wood to approve Resolution 26-6- 2905. Motion Passed. 6.B. Convene in Closed Session under Wisconsin Statute section 19.85(1)(e) Deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session (San Damiano Lease). The Finance and Personnel Committee did not discuss this item or hold a closed session. This item will be a closed session at City Council. 6.C. Reconvene in Open Session Under Wisconsin Statute Section 19.85(2). Did not hold the closed session. 6.D. Possible Action on Items Arising out of Closed Session. Did not hold the closed session. 6.E. Acceptance of General Fund Accounts Payable Checks Dated May 29–June 11, 2026. (Documentation of invoices paid is available in the City Clerk’s office.) Finance Director Houtakker reviewed some highlights from the accounts payable report. The report was provided in the meeting packet. Motion by Alder DePula, seconded by Alder Wood to accept the payment of bills as presented. Motion Passed. Staff Updates There were no staff updates.
