The Joint Plan Commission is expected to act relative to the One Solar proposal at its February 23, 2026, meeting. The Middleton/Westport Joint Zoning Commission will meet on February 24th regarding the Community of Bishops Bay Phase 8. There was nothing significant to report from the Waunakee Area EMS Commission, as it did not meet in February. Crowell had nothing to report on the Waunakee Fire District. Pichette and Grosskopf have an upcoming meeting on February 19, 2026, with the Middleton Fire District Commission. The Historic Preservation Commission will meet again on March 5, 2026. Manering reported that the Park Committee has not met since the last Board meeting. For Administrative Matters, Grosskopf introduced the concept of joining with Waunakee and perhaps others to draft a joint resolution asking Dane County to study the County Highways Q and K Intersection in an effort to find ways to increase the intersection’s safety. The Board encouraged Grosskopf to explore the options. The meeting was adjourned at 6:36 pm, on a motion by Werner, second Manering. Dean A. Grosskopf Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer
