Park & Recreation Board Meeting — Minutes

MINUTES OF THE PARK AND RECREATION BOARD MEETING HELD IN GREENFIELD CITY HALL ROOM #204, ON THURSDAY 03/16/26 AT 6:30PM 1. Chairperson Zach Marshall called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM. Citizen Commentary 3. A motion was made by Ms. Collins, seconded by Ms. Forget to approve the 02-19-26 Park and Recreation Board Meeting minutes. Motion approved. Motion to approve 02-19-26 Minutes 4. Alderperson Saryan noted nothing to report. Common Council Report 5. Mr. Marshall noted nothing to report. Board Chairman Report 6. Mr. Marshall noted nothing to report. Planning Commission Report 7. Ms. Cherek is not present. Nothing to report. GSD Report 8. Mr. Brunette reported that the pool referendum project commenced last Monday and is progressing as scheduled. Additionally, Whitnall Varsity Basketball team secured a victory against Greenfield, and the Whitnall Poms team achieved first place at the national level. WSD Report 9. Mr. Jaquish expressed his appreciation to all attendees of last month's Hall of Fame banquet. Repairs to the fences at Kulwicki are scheduled to commence this week. Additionally, the ice rink has officially concluded its season. Director of Parks and Recreation Report 10. Mr. Jaquish presented information to the board concerning the Dan Jansen ADA-accessible hard court play area, which is scheduled to be submitted for Council approval tomorrow. Discussion/Update regarding Dan Jansen ADA accessible hard court play area. 11. Mr. Jaquish presented to the board details regarding the transfer of funds in the amount of $48,000.00 to PR2502 for the Dan Jansen ADA-accessible hard court play area. Motion was made by Ms. Collins, seconded by Mr. Marshall to approve. Motion approved unanimously by roll call vote Discussion/Decision regarding fund transfer from fund 114 to PR2502. 12. Motion was made by Mr. Brunette, seconded by Ms. Forget to adjourn the meeting at 6:49 pm.
